For 2013 Kingdom Thunder was held at the Burke Mountain Resort in Burke, VT, the opposite side of the state from previous years. Northern Vermont is growing and Kingdom Thunder is too, we’ve outgrown our old location, which has closed down with all of the new construction going on around Jay Peak. Our new location at Burke Mountain is undergoing construction too.
The event is being held to have a good time and to benefit the Orleans/Essex Visiting Nurse & Hospice. OEVNA&H has been a major community based health care service provider in the North East Kingdom of Vermont since 1969.
We are cutting the event down to one day, Saturday, August 24, 2013. Camping is available but will be kind of primitive. Three new hotels are being built but they will not be ready this August. There are rooms available in the area and we will be listing them soon. Burke is close to St. Johnsbury near the New Hampshire border.

9:30 Kickstands up
9:30-11:30 Travel to Orleans for lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse
11:30-12:30 Lunch break
12:30-3:30 Travel back to Burke
4:00-8:00 BBQ & Music by Cruise Control
There will be a break during both the morning and afternoon rides.
PLEASE make sure you pre-register by 8/15- we can only provide lunch and BBQ to those who pre-register due to requirements of the food providers this year. We are sorry for this change, however it is something beyond our control.

The price is $45 per person, you must register in advance for meals. Early pre-registration ended (early included a t-shirt) on 8/15. Please do register before the event so Texas Roadhouse and Burke Resort know how many people to prepare for.
Camping is available at Burke Mountain and there are a few 4 bedroom condos available for the weekend.
